Shared Tasks is a small, privately run to-do app for sharing household tasks between a few people. It is offered free of charge, as a personal project rather than a commercial product.
You sign in with a Google account, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure. If you connect the iOS app, the token it uses is effectively a password — keep it private, and regenerate it from Settings if you think it has been exposed. Links that let an outside app complete a task contain a secret token; anyone holding such a link can complete that one task.
Use the app for its intended purpose: keeping track of your own tasks and those you share with people you have invited. Do not use it to store unlawful content, attempt to access other people's data, or disrupt the service for others.
The app is maintained on a best-effort basis. It may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time, and features such as calendar syncing depend on services operated by others. Please keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It is a task list: do not rely on it as the sole reminder for anything critical, such as medication, legal deadlines, or financial obligations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this app is not liable for any loss or damage arising from its use, including missed tasks, lost data, or interruptions in service.
You can stop using the app at any time and request deletion of your data by emailing hello@shared-tasks.app. Access may be withdrawn if these terms are broken.
What the app stores and why is described in the Privacy Policy.
